Philiipines gets #4 spot at Miss Universe 2010!

The 4th runner-up in this year’s Ms. Universe has truly proven her worth as she gave honor to the Philippines in this years competition. She almost didn’t make it this far as she was stripped of her crown because of inconsistencies in her birth record. She fought hard and her hard work paid off. Congratulations to the newest addition to the roster of Filipina beauty queens who brought honor to the Philippines and to all Filipinos all over the world, Venus Raj!

Quirino Grandstand Hostage Taking Analysis

Today is really a sad day. It’s all over the news. An almost 12-hour hostage taking happened in the Quirino Grandstand and the hostages are the Chinese tourists whose flight back home was supposedly today, and I say it, I am really disappointed with what happened. Everything turned out to be a joke!

Pinoy-owned nursing school in California shut down

Los Angeles, California – The California Attorney General’s office shut down a Filipino-owned nursing school in Los Angeles for scamming students, an online news provider reported.
